Product Name
Timbalos

The cooks at Agro Santa Fe had developed a delicious plantain chip. The missing ingredient? A name. Wishing to reflect Caribbean culture, we journeyed through the fascinating world of island traditions. When we discovered the timbal—a kind of Cuban kettledrum—we knew we’d found the name. With its ties to Caribbean culture, festive music, and as a cooking utensil associated with chip making, Timbalos cinched the top spot of preferred names.

Javier Jaar was a delightful partner throughout the naming process. He quickly grasped that the best name for his tasty and wholesome chip would be one that linked to its cultural origin. He gave us a lot of room to push the boundaries during name development and this is always a recipe for success.
