Joyst
After building businesses at CNET, Yahoo!, and Time, Inc. Bettina Cisneros needed a name for her own enterprise—a platform that provides tips and reviews along with pre-vetted products, services, and resources to shore up the lives of professional women. As a play on the word “joist”, a support beam, the name implied the platform’s function along with the product’s benefit—the happy feeling that comes when things get done and done right.
