Tutti Spa and Nails hired River + Wolf to develop a line of luxury nail polish shades. Besides being upscale in tone, the Tutti team wanted each shade to evoke the hue rather than call it out directly. To find inspiration, we poured over the lore and history of precious spices, gems, and flowers, as well as exclusive travel destinations and uncommon fabrics. We drew inspiration from classical and contemporary arts and delved deep into the world of fine foods, wines, and chocolate. This led to such names as Vintage Chandelier (clear with bits of gold); Bungalows in Bora Bora (light aqua); Stolen Kiss Hibiscus (soft white), Yachts in Monaco (bright white); and Brava Callas (strong red), to mention 5 of the 27 shades we developed for this luxurious polish line.
