After developing a whole raft of names getting at the concept of all around sound, among them Encompass, Everywhere, Wrap, and SoundAround, the Samsung group chose Radiant360 for their newly developed omni-directional wireless speaker. In addition to conveying multi-directional sound, the name needed to suggest a clear, pure, and brilliant tone.
