Ikaati
The founders of this artisanal tea wanted a name that paid homage to their Indonesian heritage. So we steeped ourselves in the region’s cultural traditions and brewed up Ikaati—a coined word inspired by ikat, the Indonesian dyeing technique and kati (caddy), the traditional vessel used for transporting tea. We also created stories for each brand line and names for the individual teas, among them Malaysian Moon, Black Orchid, and Peppermint Sun.
