Pur Color
Traditionally television display colors feature adjustment points of red, green, and blue. Samsung believed viewers deserved a more colourful experience. To attain this, they designed a technology for 4K UHD televisions that added magenta, cyan, and yellow to the standard primary hues. This resulted in colors better matched to nature’s shades. Naming ideas ran the spectrum, from the cool to the classical, but in the end, PurColor prevailed.
