Women’s Marketing, a top marketing firm with a focus on women’s brands, needed a name that better reflected their work—that of helping indie brands become established stars. After developing hundreds of names, among them Noonday Sun, Bed of Roses, No Shy Violet, and Wildest Dreams, Stella Rising, with its constellation of positive associations and sophisticated tonality, rose to the top. It also melded nicely with the company’s Glimmer Notes, a proprietary community of over 20,000 grassroots influencers who share opinions and thoughts.
